After 5yrs of suffering ill fitting dentures (2 upper and 2 lower sets) supplied by my dentist, following a consultation at Guy's Hospital Periorthodondics, I decided to see Nigel at The Denture Shop to make the dentures prescribed by Guy's. Nigel had already repaired two sets of fractured upper dentures (his work was recommended by my dentist!) and I had faith in his abilities. My initial consultation with Nigel was extensive and he patiently explained all my options with clarity, so when we finally decided which was best longterm, I confidently appointed him to provide both upper and lower dentures for me. He liaised with me to organise my visits around my existing commitments and at every step of the way, I knew exactly what to expect. Since it was such a struggle to eat with my old dentures, and as a result was regularly suffering from mouth ulcers and infections, Nigel was sometimes seeing me twice a week, in order to expedite the necessary work. Consequently, in half the time it took for my dentist to provide me with abysmal dentures, I was delighted to receive ones which are a perfect fit and no longer am I a slave to dental appliance adhesive! Without exaggeration, my life has changed and my confidence to go out for a meal without being embarrassed, has returned, all thanks to Nigel, his outstanding skills and professionalism. If required, he is always available for aftercare, and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him. Nigel's daughter, Elhana offers professional support to her father, so clients have the additional security of being cared for by a cohesive family team. Anyone who is looking for outstanding care in the private sector, need look no further than The Denture Shop.

I have just had a new denture made at the Horsham Branch of The Denture Shop and I am so pleased as they are perfect and look so natural with my own teeth. Nigel went to a lot of trouble to make them perfect and fit perfectly, which they do, and Nigel and Ehlana are very pleasant and put you right at ease. The whole experience went so smoothly over the weeks and I have come away with perfect dentures. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to go there. I am so grateful. Sheila Bowen

I visited The Denture Shop on October 1st 2025 for a consultation with Alana to discuss a way forward in respect of renewing/replacing my upper denture which has served me well for over 25 years. I was keen to retain the metal plate to which my 9 false teeth were attached, Alana checked it for suitability and confirmed that it was fine. I explained that I wanted the replacement front four teeth to be “perfect” no gaps and slightly bigger than the existing ones. I had four further appointments; (1)Impressions, (2)check wax version (for satisfaction) (3) Final version fit and adjustment (4) Check that denture had bedded down. I cannot praise Alana highly enough, her work is second none, her attention to detail was managed in a sensitive manner clearly keen to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the final outcome. I remain confident that whatever treatment she recommends you can be certain that it is the most effective and cost effective, no unnecessary addons. And by the way she is a very delightful person.

The Denture shop have been excellent! Fitting me in with an emergency repair so quickly. And then my new dentures I received fit perfectly and look so natural, The entire process was quick and professional, and they made sure I was happy with the final results.

There aren't enough superlatives in my vocabulary to express how wonderful my experience with the denture shop was , from my first enquiry by phone to booking the first consultation Hannah was very helpful and knowledgeable and puts you at ease .To my first appointment with Ehlana who balances professionalism , expertise and caring perfectly . I knew this was the right place for me . Ehlana listened to me and understood my concerns about the complexity of my needs , I am over the moon with the end result and want to say and huge thank you for everything . I cannot put into words how happy I am with the finished result 😁 After putting up with really badly fitting dentures from my NHS dentist for over seven painful months following years of ill fitting dentures I was left with no structure to my jaw my top lip almost disappeared at 47 I felt like I looked like a hag my smile was gone. These lovely ladies have literally given me back my smile and my cheekbones are visible 😁 my teeth can be seen when I talk and smile 😁 I look like me again!! They were reassuring and explained every step clearly. My new teeth are worth every penny! I no longer have any pain in my jaw neck mouth and tongue AND i look like me in the mirror. BIG THANKYOU 😁❤️
